🎧 Когда наука превращается в аудио-искусство В рамках сотрудничества ОИЯИ и Дома радио (Санкт-Петербург) по направлению Art & Science ускорительный комплекс NICA стал ключевым объектом исследования проекта «decode silence» Лаборатории экспериментального звука (ЛЭЗ) — платформы Дома Радио по изучению электроакустической музыки, пространственного звука и аудиальной культуры. decode silence — сообщество звуковых художников-инженеров в экосистеме Лаборатории экспериментального звука Дома Радио, чья практика сосредоточена на исследовании звуков, недоступных человеческому слуху: ультразвука, электромагнитных полей и микровибраций материалов. Приглашаем познакомиться с уникальным звуковым исследованием! ______ 🎧 When science turns into audio art As part of the JINR and Dom Radio (Saint Petersburg) Art & Science collaboration, the NICA Accelerator Complex was studied by the decode silence project of the Experimental Sound Laboratory (ESL), a Dom Radio platform for researching the electroacoustic music, spatial sound, and auditory culture. decode silence is a community of sound artists and engineers in the ecosystem of the Experimental Sound Laboratory at the Dom Radio, which focuses on the study of sounds beyond the human hearing: ultrasound, electromagnetic fields, and micro-vibrations of materials. On 6 December, at 9:00 PM, decode silence will present the acoustic trace album at the Dom Radio, consisting of recordings of sounds and vibrations from the Synchrophasotron, the Ivankovo Hydroelectric Power Station, the Pushchino Radio Astronomy Observatory, and the broadcast relay station near Naro-Fominsk. This album will be the first in the catalogue of a new record label dedicated to sound research, unconventional sound production techniques, and electronic music, bordering on sound art and DIY. The project combines science and art, making it possible to hear what is usually hidden from perception. The presentation will take place at the Dom Radio, 62 Nevsky Prospect. 🇨🇺 ОИЯИ и Республика Куба отметили 50-летие сотрудничества 4–5 декабря в Гаване в рамках международного семинара «ОИЯИ и Латинская Америка: синергия на благо будущего», состоялось празднование юбилея членства Кубы в Объединённом институте. С докладами на мероприятии выступил директор ОИЯИ академик РАН Григорий Трубников, а также ведущие учёные Аргентины, Венесуэлы и Кубы. Директор ОИЯИ подчеркнул ценность последовательного продвижения фундаментальной науки и воспитания кадров в государствах-членах Института: «Приятно видеть, что сегодня кубинские специалисты, прошедшие через школу Дубны, становятся основоположниками крупнейших научных центров у себя на родине». ______ 🇨🇺 JINR and Republic of Cuba celebrated 50 years of cooperation On 4–5 December, as part of the "JINR and Latin America: Synergetic partnership for future" international seminar, an event marking the anniversary of Cuba's membership at the Joint Institute took place. JINR Director, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Grigory Trubnikov as well as leading scientists of Argentina, Cuba, and Venezuela gave talks. JINR Director highlighted the importance of the consistent popularisation of fundamental science and the training of personnel in the Institute's Member States: "It is a encouraging to see that today Cuban specialists shaped by their experience in Dubna are becoming the founders of the largest scientific centers in their home country."

🏆 Сотрудники ОИЯИ стали лауреатами премии Правительства РФ для молодых учёных Церемония вручения премий в области науки и техники прошла вчера в Москве. Учёные ЛФВЭ — старший научный сотрудник Михаил Шандов и научный сотрудник Илья Николайчук — были награждены за работу по коррекции ведущего магнитного поля «Бустера» NICA. Диплом и медаль руководителю работы Михаилу Шандову вручал Председатель Правительства России Михаил Мишустин. ______ 🏆 JINR employees are laureates of Russian Government Award for young researchers The ceremony of presenting prizes in science and technology took place yesterday in Moscow. JINR scientists, VBLHEP senior researcher Mikhail Shandov and researcher Ilia Nikolaichuk were awarded for their work on correction of the leading magnetic field of the NICA Booster. Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin presented a diploma and a medal to the head of the team Mikhail Shandov.

🇨🇺 2 декабря на Кубе прошла сессия Комитета полномочных представителей ОИЯИ Перед началом заседания КПП участники почтили память научного руководителя Лаборатории радиационной биологии Евгения Красавина и вице-директора ОИЯИ Сергея Дмитриева. 🩵 Директор ОИЯИ академик РАН Григорий Трубников выступил с докладом о текущей деятельности Института, а также рассказал об истории сотрудничества ОИЯИ и кубинских научных центров. 🩵 Участники сессии обсудили проект бюджета на 2026 год, кадровую политику Института и меры по привлечению высококлассных специалистов. 🩵 Об итогах заседания Финансового комитета ОИЯИ, которое состоялось в Варадеро 1 декабря, сделал доклад замглавы Минобрнауки России Андрей Омельчук. ______ 🇨🇺 Session of JINR Committee of Plenipotentiaries held in Cuba on 2 December Before the meeting, participants honored the memory of Scientific Leader of the Laboratory of Radiation Biology Evgeny Krasavin and JINR Vice-Director Sergey Dmitriev. 🩵 JINR Director, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Grigory Trubnikov gave a talk about the Institute's current activities. In addition, he spoke about the history of cooperation between JINR and Cuban research centres. 🩵 The session participants discussed the draft budget for 2026, the Institute's personnel policy, and ways of attracting highly qualified specialists. 🩵 Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Andrey Omelchuk summarised the results of the JINR Finance Committee meeting, which took place in Varadero on 1 December.

Замысел работы даёт волю фантазии ✨ Арт-объект мог быть вдохновлён ёлочными шарами внешним видом перфокарт и перфолент — носителей информации, которые широко применялись во второй половине XX века для ввода и хранения данных в автоматизированных системах обработки информации. ______ 🎄 New JINR wallpapers It's winter! Платформа HybriLIT — это многокомпонентная система, которая состоит из СК «Говорун», учебно-тестового полигона, сетевых систем хранения данных, а также ряда специализированных сервисов. HybriLIT platform is a multi-component system consisting of the Govorun Supercomputer, a training and testing platform, data storage network systems as well as a number of specialised services. The project was carried out as part of a collaboration between the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions and the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems at JINR. 💫 Получены первые результаты эксперимента JUNO при участии ОИЯИ Сегодня на пресс-конференции в Китае Институт физики высоких энергий КАН объявил о завершении строительства Цзянмэньской подземной нейтринной обсерватории (JUNO) и представил первые физические результаты. The collaboration presented its first physics results.
