Jeffrey Epstein speaks with former White House strategist Steve Bannon about how the global banking system works. The interview was recorded in 2019 at Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse, only months before his arrest. Reports say that Bannon recorded more than 15 hours of interviews with Epstein as part of a planned documentary about his life and connections with the rich & powerful. In this clip, Epstein explains the concept of fractional reserve banking. He uses a simple example: if someone deposits $1 in a bank, the bank can lend out much more than that because banks only keep a fraction of deposits as reserves.
