❤️ В Дубне открыли памятник академику Александру Михайловичу Балдину Скульптура одного из отцов-основателей ОИЯИ установлена на пересечении улиц Лесной и Интернациональной. Открытие приурочено к 100-летию со дня рождения ученого, которое будет отмечаться в феврале 2026 года. Памятник был выполнен скульптором Дмитрием Ярминым, чьи работы уже знакомы жителям Дубны по памятнику Бруно Понтекорво и Венедикту Джелепову на аллее Высоцкого. «По просьбе семьи памятник установлен в исторической части города, на открытой площадке у леса, среди коттеджей, где начиналась Дубна и где жили выдающиеся ученые — основатели Объединенного института, организаторы большой международной науки, в том числе сам академик Балдин», — отметил директор ОИЯИ Григорий Трубников. Церемонию посетили члены дирекции Института, глава городского округа Дубна Максим Тихомиров, а также сын Александра Михайловича, начальник отдела ЛФВЭ ОИЯИ Антон Балдин. ➡️ Подробнее ______ ❤️ Statue of Academician Alexander Mikhailovich Baldin unveiled in Dubna The sculpture of a JINR founding father is placed at the intersection of Lesnaya and Internatsionalnaya Streets. The opening is timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the scientist's birth, which will be celebrated in February 2026. The statue was erected by sculptor Dmitry Yarmin. Dubna residents are already familiar with one of his works, the monument to Bruno Pontecorvo and Venedikt Dzhelepov on Vysotsky Alley. "At the request of the family, the statue was put up in the historical part of the city, in an open area near the forest, among the cottages where Dubna takes its origin and which housed outstanding scientists, the founders of the Joint Institute, organizers of great international scientific activities, including Academician Baldin himself", JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov said.
