i don’t think it’s overrated, considering the state of techno culture globally right now.. berlin is still a techno mecca, berghain still offers one of the most unique techno experiences out there, and for many artists, being part of the berlin scene is still the dream berlin breathes and shits techno - what i mean is, it has some of the truest techno you can encounter right now, but also the most touristy, surface-level side of it: “i went to berghain, i’m so crazyyyy”, “people who think being in kitkat is cool”, “i work in IT and saw two girls hooking up in a club and lost my goddamn mind” type beat it’s fairly rated... berlin techno you will always be famous
